It's Debb writing today's post. These first few pictures are for my Regency reading chums, you know who you are :)

Back to the 21st century ..... Our next stop is at Liberty London: purveyor of fabulous, pricey and very British goods. It's housed in a quaint Tudor building and rambles about over four floors. I spent some time admiring silk scarves until David caught a look at the price tags :)
What I was truly searching for was a bit of yarn to add to my growing collection. That blue is beautiful but I chose the pink right above it.
This is Georgia. She helped me decide how much yarn I'd need for my project and suggested another shop I might visit for more yarn. She's making a cardigan from some very soft mohair yarn and cleverly using two different sizes of knitting needles to get a really interesting texture. Makes me want to find my needles when I get home!
I don't pass up my last chance in London for fish and chips at Shakespeare's Head Pub .... and another pint, of course. Once we've eaten our fill, we walk along Oxford Street, bustling with busy shoppers, until we reach Hyde Park, bicycles and skaters replacing phaetons and riders. We walk along the outer edge of the park until we spot our hotel where we spend the afternoon resting until our meet and greet cocktail party and dinner with our fellow travelers tonight.
