Last night we were treated to a gala dinner that began with a traditional Sri Lankan parade, including performers from regions all over this surprisingly big and diverse country. I don't have detailed explanations so I'll let you enjoy the photos of the paraders.
And it included elephants, in costume too!
Dinner was outside on the lawn. The night was blessedly cool and featured a band stage with crooners covering American dance hits (odd) and a dance floor that got quite a workout.
