A.K.A. Debb's Wild Adventure
So we get up early this morning to go on an elephant ride. As I've said, we've done the new ride trifecta: camel, helicopter & now elephant. How fun, right?
Well, not so much ... at least for a while. The lake is at high water and the elephant's path is under water. Doesn't deter our fine "steed" Banda. He wades right in ...
At least until Banda decides "No." He isn't going farther, and starts meandering in the lake on his own. Plus our seating contraption shifts (we're riding with two much larger men, and we have an ... <ahem> ... Imbalance. So Debb isn't too happy about all this.
But after ten minutes of high anxiety Banda brings us back safe and sound.
Debb thanks Banda and our driver profusely, and promptly swears off future elephant rides anywhere near water.
