It starts with a lovely breakfast in the hotel, which is a beautiful restored palace. Since we only want coffee we sit on a lobby sofa and they bring us the tray.
Debb loved her cappuccino and chocolate croissant!
Venice is a city of 120 islands separated by canals and connected by bridges. No streets. No cars. No bicycles (I'm looking at you, Amsterdam!). Just boats.
And alleyways....
