Lunch with Prince Turki

We met HRH Prince Turki at the King Abdulaziz City of Science and Technology, a grad school and research facility, then were treated to an amazing lunch with Saudi Stanford alums and a few Saudi businessmen and teachers. David bonded with the older gentleman sitting next to him and, being David, talked politics, business and world peace. I mostly listened and found their conversation fascinating.

We dined on traditional middle eastern foods including humus, tabbouleh, stuffed grape leaves, something that looked and tasted like really good grits (but was wheat, not corn) and camel! I can honestly say camel is better tasting than yak :):):) Actually, it's quite good.
